Tax incentive
Since 2019 Lithuanian Film Tax Incentive offers an opportunity to save up to 30% of the film production budget.
The scheme is available for:
- fiction films
- TV dramas
- documentaries
- animated films
Eligibility:
- Minimum of 3 days of shooting in Lithuania;
- The total amount of eligible spend in Lithuania has to be no less than 43,000 EUR;
- At least 80% of eligible film production costs must be incurred in Lithuania;
- Film needs to pass a ‘cultural content criteria’;
Benefits:
- Save up to 30% of your production budget;
- 20% of the total Lithuanian budget can be spent abroad;
- Scheme is not limited to feature length;
